Role Overview

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible formanual and automated testing of Intradyn’s web-based archiving platform. You will ensure thereliability, scalability, and compliance of our product by performing functional, regression, and load testing. You’ll collaborate with developers and product managers to build a robust quality strategy and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Design, execute, and document manual test cases for functional and regression testing.
Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to validate UI/UX consistency.
Conduct API testing for backend validation and integrations.
Create, maintain, and improve automated test suites.
Plan and execute performance, load, and stress testing of web applications.
Work closely with developers to reproduce, isolate, and resolve defects.
Collaborate in daily stand-ups with the team.
Ensure compliance and security testing as required by Intradyn’s archiving solutions.
Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to QA best practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in software QA (manual and automated).
Strong knowledge ofSDLC, QA methodologies, and defect management systems.
Experience testingweb applications (functional and regression).
Familiarity withAPI testing practices.
Experience withperformance and load testing concepts.
Basic knowledge ofdatabases and SQL for validation.
Strong communication and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience withtest automation frameworks.
Knowledge ofcontinuous integration and deployment pipelines.
Familiarity withapplication monitoring and profiling concepts.
Understanding ofsecurity testing methodologies.
Experience incompliance-driven industries (finance, healthcare, government).
Experience usingAI to generate automated test cases.
Basic ability to navigate theLinux command-line.

3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes
Experience with manual and automated testing tools
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript
Proficient in test case design and defect tracking
Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering quality software
