Job Opportunity: Advertising Sales Executive for Magazine Publishing Group

Location: Remote. North, South, East and West Suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA.

Position Overview: The Advertising Sales Representative will be responsible for generating advertising revenue by identifying and securing new clients, maintaining relationships with existing advertisers, and promoting our magazine's advertising opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and target potential advertisers that align with our magazine's audience and content.
Develop and present customized advertising proposals to prospective clients.
Manage the sales process from initial contact through contract negotiation and ad placement.
Maintain regular communication with current advertisers to ensure satisfaction and explore opportunities for upselling.
Collaborate with the editorial and design teams to ensure ads are effectively integrated into the magazine.
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in advertising sales, preferably within the magazine or media industry.
Strong understanding of advertising principles and sales strategies.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
A network of existing client relationships is a plus.

Compensation:

Competitive base salary with commission-based incentives.
