HR-Rethought is an HR consulting firm based out of the Kansas City metropolitan area with clients nationwide. We partner with small to mid-sized businesses (first employee to 200+ employees) and form partnerships as their HR and Recruiting teams. This is a unique opportunity to work with clients across many different industries - from manufacturing to engineering to healthcare.

We are growing and adding aRecruiter to our team who will be responsible for recruiting for a wide variety of positions and cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with our clients. As a Recruiter, here’s what you’ll be doing:

Anything and everything Recruiting-related. Every client is different, and every project is different. A well-rounded Recruitment background is key! Most of our clients have no idea what they need so it is our job to advise them on what is most important.

Recruiter Responsibilities:

- Review and evaluate applicant forms and resumes

- Interview candidates (via phone, video, and in-person)

- Source potential candidates from various online channels

- Advertise job openings on career page, social media, job boards, and internally

- Submit candidates to hiring managers, leadership, and designated representatives

- Extend verbal job offers and answer questions related to benefits, as required

- Monitor key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire, and source of hire

- Design and update job descriptions

- Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates

- Prepare and distribute numerical, language, and logical reasoning tests

- Build strong relationships with leaders

- Address questions and concerns and elevate as necessary

- Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs

- Act as a mentor to new hires and help them onboard

Recruiter Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent professional work experience

- 2+ years of recent experience in Recruiting, including but not limited to, sourcing, interviewing and direct partnerships with hiring managers

- 1+ years of client facing and/or account management experience

- Technologically savvy; ability to quickly and easily learn new software

- Solid verbal and written communication skills

- Sound judgement with confidence and ability to make decisions independently

- Strong follow-through capabilities

- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at one time

Schedule:

8 hour shift - Monday to Friday

Hybrid schedule - 3 days in office, 2 days remote

Work Location:

Ability to commute on a hybrid basis to Overland Park, KS 66210 area.

Ability to relocate to the Kansas City Metropolitan area before starting work (no relocation assistance provided)

Requirements:

** Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation

** Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
