We work with top universities, edtechs, and job seekers across the US and India. We’re a fast-paced, product-driven team with a startup mindset and are looking for someone who’s excited to take ownership and grow with us. Role Overview We’re looking for a QA Tester to join our product team and take end-to-end ownership of testing at Hiration. You’ll be the first dedicated tester on the team and will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth, bug-free experience for our users — with a strong focus on UI testing across web platforms. Key Responsibilities \* Own the QA process across all Hiration products \* Write, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases \* Perform manual testing with a primary focus on UI, usability, and cross-browser issues \* Identify bugs and inconsistencies, and work closely with developers to resolve them \* Participate in sprint planning and provide input on test coverage and risk \* Set up basic QA processes and bring a structured approach to testing in a startup environment \* Ensure releases are clean, stable, and meet functional requirements Requirements \* 1–2 years of experience in software testing \* Strong experience in manual UI testing and identifying edge-case bugs \* Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases \* Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to QA \* Comfortable working independently and owning QA end-to-end \* Excellent communication and collaboration skills Nice to Have \* Familiarity with tools like Jira or similar project management systems \* Exposure to browser dev tools or Figma \* Prior startup experience or working in fast-paced, dynamic environments Why Join Us? \* Remote-first culture with flexible working hours \* High ownership and impact role \* Competitive salary (hike on current CTC)
