Responsibilities

Transport goods over long distances safely and efficiently
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
Maintain accurate records of driving hours, routes, and deliveries
Adhere to federal and state regulations regarding weight limits, driving hours, and safety protocols
Communicate with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, and cargo issues
Ensure that cargo is loaded and secured properly
Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety and transportation

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Minimum of 2 years of over-the-road driving experience preferred
Clean driving record with no major violations
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
Willingness to be away from home for extended periods

Wage .55 to .58 per miles
