We are more effective together. ### **About the Role:** No two days are the same. This role blends business development, customer success, and product strategy. You will own relationships with Hazel’s partners and solve their most pressing problems, while also helping the CEO and COO develop the broader business. You will be Hazel’s connective tissue that connects customers to product to strategy. **You can expect to:** * Meet with customer stakeholders to manage the relationship, answer their pressing questions, understand their current situation, and figure out how Hazel can best support them in the near and long term * Partner with the founding engineering team to prioritize product improvements and scope new features * Present results and future proposals to senior stakeholders (including C-suite and elected officials) * Lead demo and training sessions with users to ensure that product is meeting customer needs and is having a concrete impact * Prepare proposal packages showcasing the best of Hazel’s capabilities to potential partners * Collaborate with CEO/COO on sales strategies and deliverables **What we’re looking for:** * Experience in business development, customer success, consulting, or product strategy roles * Demonstrated **technical** understanding of engineering (e.g., STEM degree, prior experience as a SWE or PM, Github activity) * Strong communication and relationship-building skills (written, verbal, and presentation) * Proven ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities * Familiarity with government, public sector, or highly regulated industries a plus * Strong technical curiosity and willingness to dive into AI/ML and procurement workflows * Ability to travel 25-50% to customer locations and team co-location in New York/Boston/Washington D.C. * U.S. Citizen, with the ability to obtain and maintain and U.S. government-issued security clearance **Nice to have:** * Prior experience working with government agencies or mission-driven organizations * History of presenting to senior stakeholders (e.g. elected officials, C-Suite, senior executives) * Familiarity with procurement, government contracting, or compliance-heavy processes ### **Base Salary Range:** $120K - $150K USD | 0.25 – 0.75% Company Equity * Estimate provided is dependent on a wide range of factors, including years of experience, relevant knowledge, and security clearance * Generous health & 401(k) benefits * Relocation Assistance * Unlimited PTO Hazel is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
