Role Overview:

As a DevOps Engineer at One Global Holding, you will be a key player in our technology team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our financial products. You will work closely with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to oversee code releases, manage infrastructure, and ensure high availability of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

Manage and optimize multi-cloud infrastructure usingGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) andAWS EC2.
Design, deploy, and manage cloud resources for scalability, performance, and security.

Containerization & Orchestration:

Develop, deploy, and maintain containerized applications usingDocker andKubernetes.
Implement Kubernetes configurations usingHelm for managing complex deployments.
Work with lightweight Kubernetes distributions likeK3s for edge or small-scale clusters.

Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

Build and manage infrastructure automation usingTerraform andAnsible to ensure consistent, repeatable infrastructure across environments.
Manage backup solutions usingVelero Backup for Kubernetes environments.

CI/CD Pipeline Management:

Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines usingJenkins,GitLab CI, andGitLab Runner to automate code integration, testing, and deployment processes.
Ensure smooth operations of pipelines, collaborating with development teams for faster, more reliable releases.

Storage & Backup Solutions:

Manage and optimize storage solutions, includingLonghorn for persistent storage in Kubernetes.
Implement backup strategies to ensure data integrity and high availability across environments.

Linux Systems Administration:

Maintain and optimizeLinux servers, ensuring security, stability, and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in cloud-based and on-premise environments.

Monitoring & Security:

Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and quick resolution of potential issues.
Work closely with the security team to ensure all deployments and infrastructure follow security best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience withGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) andAWS EC2.
Containerization: Proficient withDocker,Kubernetes,Helm, andK3s.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Expertise inTerraform andAnsible for automated deployments.
CI/CD Tools: Experience withJenkins,GitLab CI, andGitLab Runner for managing continuous integration and deployment.
Backup & Recovery: Experience withVelero Backup for Kubernetes andLonghorn for distributed block storage.
Linux Systems: Advanced knowledge ofLinux system administration and troubleshooting.
Scripting: Strong scripting skills (e.g.,Bash,Python, orShell scripting) for automation tasks.
Version Control: Familiarity withGit and version control systems likeGitLab.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications: Certifications in GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, or DevOps practices.
Security: Experience in implementing security best practices for cloud and container environments.
Agile Experience: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working within cross-functional teams.
