Work with Funktio AI

We are seeking a EU-based remote AI Engineer to join our consulting team on a contract basis.

Responsibilities include

Architect and design generative AI solutions to solve client needs
Develop proof-of-concept AI applications to demonstrate potential solutions
Optimize AI models for production environments, focusing on scalability, performance and cost-efficiency
Create technical documentation and client-facing presentations on AI implementations
Integrate AI capabilities into existing client systems
Stay informed about emerging AI technologies and assess their potential for client applications
Contribute to the development of reusable AI components and internal tooling.

Required Skills

Bonus Skills

Familiarity with React for frontend development
Experience in consulting or client-facing technical roles
DevOps, CICD and Infrastructure-as-Cloud (Terraform, Bicep, Github Actions)
Working with Cloud platforms (especially Azure, but AWS/GCP also counts as a bonus)
Background in natural language processing (NLP) research or applications

Flexible, location-independent contract work: 20-40 hours per week
Competitive hourly rate (45-110€/h), depending on experience
