What you’ll do.

Prepare financial statements, management letters, and audit reports in accordance with professional and firm standards
Use knowledge and ability to apply generally accepted accounting principles ("GAAP")
Complete audit and review assignments under the general supervision of managers and partners
Perform substantive procedures and tests of controls
Work with clients to identify opportunities for improvement
Deliver high quality, accurate and timely outcomes for the firm and our clients
Develop quality client relationships and partner to best serve their needs
Performs other related duties as assigned
Travel occasionally (same-day) for work at clients, firm meetings or seminars

What you’ll need.

A strong alignment and willingness to consistently demonstrate Forge’s core values.
Bachelor’s degree required. Accounting degree strongly preferred; will consider Finance degree if paired with Accounting minor.
CPA or eligibility to sit for CPA exam is preferred.
Entry level or up to 3 - 5 years prior experience (contingent on candidate's prior Audit experience)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Teams, Share Point, etc) and the ability to stay ahead of the curve with continual technology advancements.
Business and financial statement analysis skills.
Demonstrated high level of discretion and confidentiality
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Growth mindset required.
Ability to execute and effectively collaborate virtually.
