About This Role:

The Resource Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of their local branch office and training facility. This role is crucial for the strategic placement of associates across a diverse range of customers and industries and overseeing pipeline management. A successful candidate will possess a passion for people and the ability to accomplish various tasks while leading and growing the business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain operations, workforce management, and customer relations. They will make a memorable and measurable difference by identifying, implementing, and administering industry best practices to help the company achieve its objectives and drive a competitive position in the marketplace.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the local branch office and training facility.
Strategically place associates to meet the needs of various customers and industries.
Lead, motivate, and grow the business through effective management and innovative strategies.
Identify, implement, and administer industry best practices to achieve company objectives and enhance competitive positioning.

Manages all associate updates such as promotions and salary changes and secures HCM data transactions in partnership with HR.
Creates and oversees reporting and resource/utilization tracking within systems.
Performs inspections of potential work environments to assess their suitability and project viability.
Partners with the Business Development Team and communicates possible growth opportunities.
Maintains a continuous improvement mindset to identify and address obstacles that impair our ability to provide our customers with service excellence.
Maintains federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum of three years of hands-on leadership with more than 15 direct reports.
Experience managing customer relationships.
Minimum one year experience working with associates in non-traditional office environments preferred (distribution, manufacturing, retail, supply chain, etc.

Education:

We believe that skills and experience are what truly matter. While education can be a valuable asset, it is not required to succeed in this role.

Knowledge of industry safety standards; CEI certification within 15 days of employment.

Work Environment:

This position will primarily be an in-office role and setting, with the occasional remote opportunity. It will also require travel within the local area and out of state as needed.

The position will travel to distribution centers, which may not be climate-controlled. It may also involve loud noises and areas below 32 degrees, requiring extended walking/movement in small areas amidst heavy machinery.

Physical Demands:

Office and warehouse environment.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to work in the office and warehouse environment most days of the week; this is not a remote position but may have some remote flexibility.
Some out-of-state travel may be required.
