Excellergy is seeking a Vice President, Strategic Market Development. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing overall company and brand strategy for Excellergy as we build out the go to market approach and messaging within the immunology field. The position will plan, lead, and coordinate activities across multiple functional groups and interact with other key internal and external stakeholders to deliver the strategic priorities of the organization in the areas of overall corporate and brand development. This position will report to the CEO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Contribute to strategic planning for a clinical stage and IND-ready pipeline programs.

- Lead, coordinate, and build out a targeted advocate development plan across pertinent spaces within Immunology.

- Develop and manage key market assessment, business development, and brand projects, ensuring alignment with overall corporate objectives.

- Ensure a clear alignment between clinical and commercial objectives as it pertains to study design, medical communication and overall asset/company positioning.

- Maintain a deep understanding of the biotech and pharma landscape, including competitor pipeline, deal trends, and overall investor sentiment.

- Manage routine status reporting to the Core team on a bi-weekly basis.

- Collect and analyze forecasted and accrued costs to summarize project financial status.

- Coordinate all Key Opinion Leaders' interactions at advisory sessions.

- Lead the development and implementation of integrated plans for multiple projects.

- Ensure cross-functional alignment and accountability in all project aspects.

- Identify and manage program risks and recommend solutions to senior management.

- Chair and coordinate program meetings, maintaining decisions and action items.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 10+ years of experience in biopharma with a proven track record in building and scaling marketing and business development functions at early to growth stage startups.

- Deep experience in go to market strategies, including demand generation, brand building, corporate branding, and overall upstream and downstream communication through an early-stage organization.

- Strong storytelling and positioning skills enabling the ability to translate complex products into a compelling narrative for customers, investors and the broader marketplace.

- Hands on execution across multi channels (Digital, Content, Events, PR, Social, etc.)

- Strategic thinking with the ability to develop solid executable tactical plans.

- Analytical mindset with fluency in key Marketing KPI’s and messaging experimentation.

- Experience working cross functionally with Clinical, Pre-Clinical, CMC, and Executive Management.

The target salary range for this full-time role is $275 - $315,000 + Bonus + equity + benefits. Excellergy, Inc., determines salary ranges based on level and scope of responsibilities, as well as location. Individual pay is further determined by additional factors, including relevant experience, specific job skills, education and training.
