About the role

We are seeking aBusiness Development Managerwho will be responsible for driving new business revenues from Insurance & HMO companies, corporate partners, and consumers. You will have minimally 5 years of business development/sales experience within the Healthcare industry.

The ideal candidate will have a mindset of continuous improvement and change and will demonstrate curiosity, collaboration and the ability to deal with ambiguity especially in a start-up environment.

This role is based inMakati, Metro Manilaand reports directly to theSVP & CEO, General Health Services

Key Responsibilities

Drive new business growth by identifying, developing, and closing strategic partnerships with HMOs, insurance companies, corporate clients, healthcare providers, government agencies, and other ecosystem partners.
Develop and execute business development and account growth strategies to achieve revenue, consultation volume, utilization, and partnership objectives.
Generate, qualify, and manage a healthy sales pipeline using multiple channels, including networking, referrals, digital prospecting, AI-powered lead generation tools, CRM platforms, and industry events.
Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned accounts, ensuring high levels of partner satisfaction, engagement, retention, and long-term strategic collaboration.
Conduct regular business reviews with partners to monitor performance, utilization, operational issues, service levels, and identify opportunities to increase consultation volume, expand services, and improve partner experience.
Identify and execute upselling, cross-selling, renewal, and expansion opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue and strengthen long-term partnerships.
Lead end-to-end partnership discussions, including needs assessment, solution design, proposal preparation, commercial negotiations, contract execution, and implementation.
Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, business reviews, and executive-level meetings with prospective and existing partners.
Collaborate closely with Product, Medical, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Technology teams to design and implement customized healthcare solutions that address client needs and create competitive differentiation.
Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and data analytics to improve prospecting, account planning, market research, proposal development, sales forecasting, customer insights, and operational efficiency.
Analyze utilization trends, partner performance, market developments, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and recommend strategic initiatives.
Develop business cases, pricing proposals, financial models, and ROI analyses to support commercial discussions and management decision-making.
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipelines, account plans, forecasts, and management reports to monitor business performance and revenue targets.
Work closely with Operations and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth partner onboarding, implementation, issue resolution, and continuous service improvement.
Develop and execute sales and marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness, member acquisition, consultation utilization, and overall partner engagement.
Assist in conducting partner onboarding, orientation sessions, and product training to ensure successful adoption of Doctor Anywhere's services.
Represent Doctor Anywhere at conferences, healthcare forums, networking events, and industry meetings to strengthen the company's market presence and generate new business opportunities.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, healthcare regulations, and internal company policies throughout the partnership lifecycle.
Continuously identify opportunities to optimize sales processes, automate workflows, leverage AI technologies, and improve overall commercial effectiveness.
Perform other duties and strategic projects as assigned by Management.

About you

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of progressive Business Development experience in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Insurers, HMOs, Insurance Brokers & Corporate Human Resources is an added advantage
Experience in Account and Partnership Management is a plus
Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Able to handle changes and with continuous improvement mentality
Excellent team player to facilitate close partnering with local and regional teams
Genuine curiosity and strong desire to continuously learn and grow
Experience of working within a tech startup and hyper growth environment would be a bonus
A start-up attitude - you take full ownership of things that you do, willing to go out of your comfort zones and take on new challenges.
Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible to learn new things - we’re not done growing, and heading into uncharted territories is part of the fun.
