The DCX Client Services -Home-Based Jr. Creative Merchandiser will work as a full-time employee for a growing business based in the United States. This role plays an important part in curating and presenting product assortments that meet client needs while aligning with their brand identity, culture, and business objectives.

The Jr. Creative Merchandiser will be responsible for researching and recommending products, developing compelling product presentations, maintaining accurate and competitive pricing, supporting client campaigns, and assisting with new merchandise program launches. This role requires a combination of product sourcing expertise, creativity, commercial awareness, strong presentation skills, and attention to detail.

The daily tasks will vary based on client requests, campaigns, seasonal needs, and new business opportunities, so flexibility, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.

REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES

Product Sourcing & Supplier Knowledge: Strong ability to research, source, and recommend apparel, promotional products, signage, and other branded merchandise based on client requirements.
Creative Merchandising & Storytelling: Ability to develop compelling product assortments and presentations that align with a client's brand, culture, campaign, and target audience.
Pricing & Cost Management: Strong understanding of product costing and the ability to account for vendor costs, decoration, shipping, and miscellaneous fees when developing customer pricing.
Organization & Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple client requests, product presentations, pricing updates, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously.
Attention to Detail: Highly accurate when reviewing product availability, pricing, specifications, decoration requirements, and presentation details.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Account Managers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Adaptability & Resilience: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where client requirements, priorities, and product availability may change.
Self-Management & Collaboration: Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
Technical Aptitude: Advanced ability to build presentations, work with spreadsheets, conduct product research, and quickly learn internal software and systems.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Product Research & Presentations

Research and recommend products based on client requests while ensuring selections align with the client's brand guidelines, culture, budget, and objectives.
Develop product recommendations and presentations forcustomprojects, website program additions, client campaigns, and seasonal initiatives.
Support campaigns and special occasions such as Mother's Day, Employee Appreciation Day, company anniversaries, and other client-specific events.
Create visually compelling product presentations that clearly communicate the value and relevance of recommended merchandise.
Regularly refresh existing merchandise programs and provide new recommendations based on emerging trends, seasonal changes, and client needs.
Ensure recommended products have appropriate stock availability and accurate customer pricing before presenting them to clients.
Research apparel, promotional merchandise, signage, and other branded product solutions from appropriate suppliers and retail brands.

Pricing & Quoting

Regularly review and update pricing for merchandise program items based on current supplier costs and market conditions.
Communicate pricing changes and relevant product updates to the Account Manager.
Prepare accurate and competitive pricing for new products upon request.
Ensure all applicable costs, including product costs, decoration, shipping, and miscellaneous vendor fees, are properly incorporated into customer pricing.
Balance competitive pricing with appropriate margin and cost considerations.
Coordinate with suppliers as needed to verify pricing, availability, production requirements, and product information.

New Program Launches

Support new business opportunities by sourcing products included in prospective clients' Requests for Pricing (RFPs).
Review client-provided RFP information, including existing program products, inventory details, quantities, and current pricing.
Identify comparable or alternative merchandise that meets client requirements.
Develop competitive product and pricing recommendations designed to match or improve upon the client's existing merchandise program.
Create comprehensive new program presentations featuring a broad assortment of recommended apparel, promotional products, branded merchandise, and signage.
Contribute product recommendations and merchandising expertise to client proposals, campaigns, and new business presentations.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

Education: High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in promotional products, branded merchandise, retail merchandising, product sourcing, or a closely related field.
Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of promotional product suppliers, retail brands, merchandise sourcing, decoration methods, and production processes.
Client Support: Experience supporting client merchandise programs, corporate merchandise strategies, branded programs, campaigns, or similar initiatives.
Decoration Knowledge: Understanding of common decoration methods, including screen printing, embroidery, laser engraving, and related production techniques.
Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation-building and product storytelling skills, with the ability to develop compelling product recommendations.
Product Research: Strong ability to identify products based on brand fit, customer requirements, availability, pricing, trends, and campaign objectives.
Pricing Knowledge: Experience developing product pricing and considering supplier costs, decoration, freight, fees, and margins.
Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and product research tools.
Industry-Specific Software: Experience with promotional products industry platforms such as ESP+ by ASI and SAGE Promotional Product Software is preferred.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple client requests, product searches, presentations, pricing requirements, and deadlines simultaneously.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Working Schedule: Ability to work within U.S. operating hours.

Salary Range: PHP 55,000- 65,000
