Cygnus Payment Solutions seeks Independent Sales Consultant and Agents to join our team!

As a full service processor in the financial services industry, we offer a high revenue share, multiple back-ends, and 99% Underwriting approval rate! Headquartered in Virginia and over 3,700 active merchant outlets throughout the United States, Cygnus processes approximately 5 million transactions totaling $190 million per month.

Responsibilities

Actively prospect and acquire new merchant clients, targeting small to medium-sized businesses.
Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, serving as their primary point of contact.
Conduct detailed needs assessments to identify each business owners unique needs.
Recommend and present Cygnus' suite of payment processing solutions.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition for new merchants.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors to effectively position Cygnus' offerings

Proven track record of sales success in the payment processing industry.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse business partners.
Strong network and relationship-building abilities.
Demonstrated self-motivation and a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.
Ability to work independently, managing time, and priorities effectively.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
Willingness to travel locally to meet clients and attend industry events as required.
