In this executive role, you will define and drive the overall technology strategy and product roadmap, ensuring that our technical execution is tightly aligned with our business goals and our mission to modernize clinical trials. You will oversee end-to-end product development – from conceptualization and design through development, launch, and iteration – all while maintaining the highest standards of quality, security, and regulatory compliance in our platform. As the head of both engineering and product teams, you’ll act as the bridge between vision and execution, transforming ambitious ideas into cutting-edge features and seamless user experiences across our software suite. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic and hands-on leader to make a profound impact on the future of eClinical software. You will work closely with the CEO and other executives on high-level strategy, bringing insight into how modern technology can accelerate study timelines and improve patient experiences. If you are passionate about innovation and excited to build a world-class team that’s transforming an industry, this role is for you. ### Your Role * Drive the product vision and technical strategy for Curebase, aligning our roadmap with the company’s mission and the needs of patients, sites, and sponsors in clinical trials. Work with executive leadership to translate business objectives into actionable engineering and product initiatives. * Lead and mentor the engineering team, instilling best practices in agile development, architecture, and quality assurance. Ensure the platform’s scalability, security, and reliability. * Guide the product management team in researching user needs, market trends, and customer feedback. Prioritize and oversee the development of new features and enhancements to deliver intuitive, impactful solutions for decentralized trials. * Serve as the key liaison between engineering, product and other departments. Facilitate open communication and collaboration so that product development is synchronized with operational execution and client expectations. * Own the end-to-end delivery of the product roadmap. Set clear goals and KPIs, manage resources and timelines, and remove obstacles to ensure timely release of high-quality software. Continuously improve our development process for efficiency and transparency. * Build a high-performing, inclusive team that thrives on innovation and accountability. Recruit top talent, provide mentorship, and create growth opportunities for team members. Champion a culture of continuous learning, creative problem-solving, and passion for our mission. * Engage with key clients, partners, and users to gather insights and to advocate for Curebase’s vision. ### Your Profile * 10+ years in software product development (engineering, product management, or combined), with 5+ years in a senior leadership role driving both product strategy and engineering execution. Experience in healthtech, life sciences, or SaaS companies is highly valued. * Strong background in software engineering principles and system architecture. Comfortable discussing technical details with engineers and making high-level architectural decisions. * Proven ability to define and execute a product roadmap. Deep understanding of user experience, customer needs, and market trends. Track record of launching successful software products and iterating them based on user feedback and analytics. * Exceptional leadership skills with experience building and scaling teams. Able to inspire and unite cross-functional teams around a common vision. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of articulating complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern development tools. Strong project management skills – able to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail, ensuring projects stay on track and deliver results. * BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus. * A visionary mindset with a passion for transforming healthcare through technology.
