The Role

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer to join our Freelancers team. If you are a proactive problem solver with a strong background in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, we want to hear from you!

The successful candidate will be added to our Approved Freelance List and will therefore be included on a shortlist for further projects.

About our Approved Freelance List (AFL)

One of the key strengths of the Creamos team as a creative agency is our ability to remain independent from production constraints. This allows us to explore the best touchpoints, technology, and design styles for each client, rather than being limited to the capabilities of an in-house team. We achieve this flexibility by leveraging freelance production talent, integrating them seamlessly into our team on a project-by-project basis.

Candidates on our AFL are considered some of the best talent across the whole of the Latin American region and will work on projects for some of the world's best-known brands as well as for high-growth startups that are fast becoming the major brands of the future.

Responsibilities

Develop user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Work closely with backend developers, designers, and product managers to implement features and functionalities.
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve any front-end issues.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Create responsive layouts that work across various devices and browsers.

Native Spanish and at least B2 English.
At least 3 years of experience as a Front-End Developer.
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience working with APIs.
Familiarity with responsive design and mobile development.
Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
Experience integrating no-code tools like Airtable, Webflow, Contentful, etc.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A portfolio showcasing your front-end development work.

Nice to have skills

Experience with AWS and frameworks like React, Angular or Vue.js.
Experience implementing best practices for SEO.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices.
