### About Cotera Cotera is building a platform that allows any business to automate anything with AI. We’re starting with Customer Experience teams, where LLMs have radically changed the scope of what can be analyzed and automated. ### About the role We're looking for a talented software engineer to join our team. The platform is incredibly ambitious, and the role will test your ability to work across the stack, solve business problems, and work with data at scale. We don’t put a number on experience, and the role will suit anyone who is smart, ambitious, on a steep personal growth curve, who moves fast, and cares deeply about making their customers successful. The role is full time and in office, based in New York City. ### What You'll Do * Work on our React Frontend that uses DuckDB WASM to allow customers to interact with their data * Build infrastructure that processes millions of automations for our customers * Improve our relational algebra compiler that transforms complex data operations into efficient data warehouse queries * Expand on our multi tier query caching system that can share partial results between queries * Develop intuitive user interfaces that help customers build sophisticated AI workflows without headaches * Solve challenging problems at the intersection of distributed systems, compiler theory, UX, and practical AI applications ### What Makes You a Great Fit * You’re ambitious and are looking for a steep personal growth curve * You want to build great products, and care about everything from UX to Infrastructure. * You like to work fast and get things into customers’ hands * You love solving complex technical problems and can think independently * You have a strong grasp of computer science fundamentals and system design * You're comfortable diving into unfamiliar codebases and making them better * You hate communication overhead and want to talk to customers directly ### Our Tech Stack We use TypeScript, PostgreSQL, React, and run on Kubernetes in GCP. However, we care more about your fundamentals, and your ability to learn and adapt than specific technology experience.
