OPERATIONS ANALYST

Community Care Trust - Ōtepoti (Dunedin)

Annual Salary - $78,116 per annum

Full Time - 40 hours per week (8.30am to 5.00pm - hours negotiable)

Does Excel get you excited? Would you love to spend your days pulling data from our main software system and proving reports on this to management? Does the idea of learning how this software ticks and liaising with the external developers sound like a dream?

We are a charitable trust providing support to people throughout the South Island. Based in Dunedin, and working within the Quality and Risk Team, the Operations Analyst uses data to assist us to remain focused on quality improvement. They also work with a team of our staff who have special permissions within our main software system to tailor it to our needs.

Main tasks:

Organise and lead webinars with our Australia based Software Developers, communicate our requirements, track quotes and tickets.
Organise and lead internal catch ups and knowledge sharing with our other system administrators.
Compiling and interpreting data into reports and recommendations, for example, pull all staff training records over the past six months from our software into Excel format and produce a written report outlining key statistics and areas for improvement.
And for a bit of variety, from time to time assist colleagues with various other tasks, for example assessing properties to ensure they are warm, safe and comfortable, assist with policy review and lend a hand with project work.

About you:

You are computer savvy and can quickly pick up new technology.
Knowledge of relational databases.
Excel is your jam; you love a Pivot table and know the VLOOKUP formula by heart.
You have a good general knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications.
You have an analytical mindset and can pull data together and make recommendations in line with our values.
Good attention to detail and excellent report writing skills.
You are confident in communicating with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

- Option to work from home up to two days per week.
