Pay:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Assists Lead HVAC Technician in all aspects of HVAC construction, repair and maintenance projects.
Gathers tools, supplies and parts, as directed, to be used at work site.
Maintains work site in a clean, safe manner and promptly notifies management of any unsafe working conditions.
Maintains serviceability and cleanliness of assigned tools and equipment and ensures their proper use; keeps assigned supplies and parts in order.
Keeps assigned service vehicle, tools, equipment, inventory and supplies in a clean, safe, secure and orderly condition.
Responsible for the serviceability, cleanliness and appropriate use of any personal protective equipment required to carry out normal assigned tasks.
Completes required work order documentation through use of appropriate system for tracking work orders.
Keeps management apprised of remote location and/or destination at all times.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
HVAC certification (Preferred)
Journeyman HVAC License (Preferred)
Three to five years’ experience in HVAC construction, repair and maintenance
Valid State of Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Valid State of Florida Commercial Driver’s License Class B (Preferred)
Any combination of education and experience may be substituted, so long as it provides the desired skills, knowledge and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job

This position frequently communicates with supervisors and other staff to safely execute the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment. Must be able to accurately convey and perceive information in these situations.

Must be able to perceive, inspect, and assess safety and maintenance instructions to execute essential maintenance and installation duties. Must be able to distinguish colors, depths and details to ensure safe and accurate electrical installation and maintenance.

Must be able to regularly move objects up to 25 pounds, frequently move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally, must be able to move objects up to 100 pounds, and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.

Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.

Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and at precarious heights in an outdoor environment which may expose the worker to inclement weather, excessive heat and humidity. Employee may be exposed to pollution, fumes and airborne particles.

The employee is frequently exposed to the dangers of stored electrical energy and hazards associated with electrical work, including risk of electric shock.

The noise level is usually moderate.
