The Membership Specialist will be responsible for managing our membership program, ensuring exceptional service to our members and prospective members alike. This position requires a proactive individual who can engage with visitors, problem-solve on the fly, and work collaboratively with various departments including marketing, education, and guest services. You will be the first point of contact for inquiries, renewals, and membership sign-ups and will play an integral part in developing innovative ways to enhance our membership offerings. Responsibilities

Manage the overall membership program including recruitment, renewal, and retention efforts.
Provide exceptional customer service to members and prospective members through in-person interactions, phone calls, and email correspondence.
Develop and implement membership promotional campaigns to increase member engagement and sales.
Assist in maintaining accurate membership records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Collaborate with marketing staff on membership-related initiatives, including digital campaigns and social media outreach.
Coordinate membership events and special member-only activities to enhance member experience.
Prepare regular reports on membership sales, renewals, and engagement metrics for the management team.

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or membership sales.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with membership management software.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for wildlife conservation and education, with a desire to promote the mission of Brevard Zoo.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
