Key Responsibilities:

Lead, plan, and execute DevOps/SRE projects throughout the SDLC.
Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Build, maintain, and collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments for zero downtime deployments.
Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
Assess current systems and processes, and develop ways to improve them.
Secure systems against cyber threats and develop disaster recovery plans.
Manage the organization's hardware, software, and networking components.
Clearly communicate technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
Directly manage and mentor a Junior DevOps engineer.

We're looking for someone who:

Has 5+ years of experience in DevOps and SRE roles.
Possesses strong proficiency in GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD tools, and IaC.
Is a monitoring and alerting expert with strong incident response skills.
Has experience with time series metrics tools like Graphite and data visualization tools like Tableau, Grafana, or Kibana.
Has experience with log aggregation and exploration using the ELK stack.
Understands email deliverability with PowerMTA.
Can code in a language like PHP, Node.js, or Python.
Can provide references and consent to a background check.

Bonus Points for:

Experience with RDBMS like MySQL and PostgreSQL.
Cloud budget projection and cost reporting skills.
Cloud platform or DevOps certifications.
