Avvia is looking for a QA Engineer on behalf of Gravitee

What you will be doing:

Create test frameworks to ensure the platform is rigorously tested prior to release,
Define acceptance criteria for tests,
Write UI/Integration automation tests,
Operate in Docker/Kubernetes ecosystem, and
Participate in regular meetings with the wider Engineering team.

What you bring:

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who can own the testing requirements of our various software platforms, package requirements and ensure our releases are fully and comprehensively tested. You will also interact and engage with our users and our open-source community to identify requirements and issues.

We want someone who is independent and capable of taking responsibility for quality assurance.

Some of the skills that you will have:

Very good understanding of testing methodologies including UAT, system, integration and regression testing.
Experience in the use of test management and defect tracking tools.
Excellent logic and problem solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail.
Experience in automated testing and integration testing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrate a good level of understanding of web application architectures.
Software development experience (Java preferably).
5 years experience required.
