About the Role:

We're seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and self-starting Full Stack TypeScript Developer to take the reins for the development and evolution of our core product. You'll be joining a small dynamic and collaborative environment as our principal developer, so your ideas and contributions will directly impact the success of our company.

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality TypeScript code for both front-end and back-end components of our product.

Take ownership of complex technical challenges, independently researching and implementing solutions to fulfill the joint product vision.
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall technical direction of the product.
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.

Qualifications:

5 years of professional experience in software development with a strong emphasis on TypeScript.
Ability to make recommendations and justify them to senior leadership.

Create succinct packages to defend your approach and thought process to solving a specific problem or development challenge.

Strong passion for clean and visually appealing front end UX and design.
Proven experience building and deploying production-ready web applications using React Framework.
Solid understanding of back-end technologies, including Node.js and Express.js.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills (Google Workspace, Jira, Slack)

Bonus Points:

Include projects that highlight your ability to build and deploy complex applications, emphasizing your problem-solving skills and coding style.
Contributions to open-source projects.

Provide a portfolio or active GitHub profile with examples of your work, demonstrating your proficiency in TypeScript and full-stack development.

Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).

What We Offer:

Competitive benefits and a salary range of $135,000 - $155,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
U.S. Citizenship Required: Due to the nature of our work with the US. government and security agencies, all applicants must be US citizens living and residing in the US.
This is a fully remote position.
