Responsibilities

Receive and inspect incoming shipments to verify quantity and quality against purchase orders.
Accurately record all received materials in the inventory management system.
Report any damaged or missing items to the appropriate departments promptly.
Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure smooth flow of materials.
Maintain organized and clean receiving areas to comply with safety standards.
Assist in unloading shipments and ensure proper storage of materials.
Communicate with suppliers and carriers regarding shipment statuses and discrepancies.
Prepare and maintain receiving reports and related documentation.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts is a plus.
Proficient with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy materials when required.
