Always Compassionate Home Care is seeking Home Care Schedulers/Staffing Coordinators to work with our coordination team. This team’s primary responsibility is to work directly with our caregivers to ensure they are providing our clients with the compassionate care our clients deserve. Coordinators focus on delivery of care through scheduling and continuous communication with our PCA/HHA Division.

We are currently seeking candidates to fill 2 remote positions for the following schedules:

Schedule 1 (full time/36 hrs)

Friday and Monday 6a-8a / 6p-11p
Saturday and Sunday 6a-9a / 5p-11p

Schedule 2 (part time/24 hrs)

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6a-8a / 5p-11p

Responsibilities:

Maintain schedules for home care clients- scheduling home care staff accordingly. Communicating schedule assignments with staff and clients.
Collaborate with recruitment department regarding hiring HHA/PCAs from difficult to serve geographical areas.
Documents and reports to Supervisor when there is a change in client status, change in service requirement, change in aide assigned to case, incidents, and complaints.
Ability to use time efficiently and efficiently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrated ability to multi-task.
Technically savvy - proficient in use of smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other devices.
Exceptional communication skills - demonstrated ability to communicate and follow-up in a timely manner.
Partners with recruiters and intake coordinators to ensure immediate and effective care coverage.
Communicate all relevant information to nurses and homecare clients.
Follows up with clients, and families regarding schedule changes, service issues, etc.

Qualifications:

Working knowledge of NYS DOH Home Care operations preferred.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
At least 2 years of experience in a Home Care or Health Care setting
At least 2 years experience staffing/scheduling
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail with problem solving skills
Strong customer service background
