Alinea is building the investing platform for the next generation.\ \ Anam and Eve started Alinea after realizing existing investing platforms were not designed for how people actually want to learn, decide, and engage with their money. They set out to build a product that feels intuitive, personalized, and modern from day one. Today, we’re a lean team of engineers moving at breakneck speed. Post-Series A\ 2.5M+ downloads\ 200K+ funded accounts We’re looking for a **Product Engineer (iOS)** to own and scale the core mobile experience at Alinea. This is not a “just iOS” role. You’ll operate across the stack and work directly with the founders to design, build, and ship the product end-to-end—from onboarding to investing to long-term engagement. You’ll play a key role in launching new financial products (including retirement accounts) and defining how a new generation interacts with their money. ### What You’ll Do * Own the iOS app end-to-end: architecture, performance, and user experience * Build and ship fast high-quality features used by hundreds of thousands of users * Work directly with founders, product, and design to turn ideas into shipped product in days, not weeks * Build across the stack using **Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, and MongoDB** * Launch new financial products (e.g. retirement accounts) from 0 → 1 * Design systems for onboarding, engagement, and personalization * Continuously improve speed, reliability, and product quality * Set the standard for engineering velocity and craftsmanship ### What We’re Looking For * 3+ years of experience building and shipping consumer mobile apps * Strong experience with **Swift / SwiftUI** * Comfortable working across the stack (APIs, backend, infra) * Proven ability to ship quickly and iterate based on real user feedback * Strong product instincts—you care deeply about the user experience * High ownership mindset—you don’t wait for specs, you drive outcomes ### Strong Signals * You’ve worked on a high-growth consumer app (fintech, marketplace, or social) * You’ve built or scaled 0→1 products * You’ve operated in a fast-moving, low-structure environment * You care about craft, but you care more about impact ### Why This Role * You’ll own a core surface of a product used by hundreds of thousands (and growing fast) * You’ll work directly with the founders on product decisions—not sit behind tickets * You’ll help define how financial products like investing and retirement are built for a new generation * You’ll have outsized ownership in a company at real scale ($19M ARR, growing fast) ### Working at Alinea * Hybrid: 4 days/week in our NYC office * Small, high-talent team * High ownership, low bureaucracy * Real opportunity to shape the product, not just contribute to it ### First 90 Days Within your first 30 days, you’ll have shipped your first major feature to 200K+ users. By day 90, you’ll be the primary architect behind our new retirement account product line. * Ship core components of our **retirement accounts** product * Refine and scale **prediction markets** within the app * Launch new features around **crypto staking** * Build and iterate on user-facing features for **AI Allie** * Help design and ship a **smart treasury product**
