## **The Opportunity** Akute Health is building a modern, automation-first EHR for the next generation of healthcare providers, starting with direct care practices, digital health companies, and med spas. We have found strong product-market fit in the SMB healthcare market and are now building a more repeatable sales process. We are looking for an Account Executive who is excited to develop as a seller, close a high volume of deals, and work closely with an experienced leadership team. This is a strong opportunity for someone who has built a foundation in SaaS sales and is ready to step into a full-cycle closing role. ## **The Role** As an Account Executive, you will manage opportunities from the initial conversation through close. Most deals will range from **$4,000 to $10,000 in annual contract value** and will primarily involve solo practitioners and small healthcare teams. These are generally fast-moving sales cycles where your ability to understand the customer’s needs, deliver a strong demo, and follow up consistently will be critical. You may also support larger or more complex opportunities alongside company leadership. You will not be expected to have everything figured out on day one. We are looking for someone who is coachable, organized, comfortable speaking with customers, and eager to improve. ## **What You’ll Do** * Manage the full sales cycle, including discovery, demos, pricing conversations, follow-up, negotiation, and closing * Close a high volume of SMB opportunities, primarily with direct care practices, med spas, and digital health companies * Sell deals typically ranging from $4,000 to $10,000 in annual contract value * Learn how to identify customer needs and clearly communicate the value of Akute Health * Partner with leadership on larger or more complex opportunities * Work with an SDR on inbound and outbound opportunities while also developing some of your own pipeline * Follow a structured sales process while helping improve messaging, qualification, objection handling, and deal stages * Maintain accurate opportunity notes, activities, and forecasts in HubSpot * Follow up consistently and keep opportunities moving through the pipeline * Share customer feedback with the product and leadership teams * Continue developing your sales skills through coaching, call reviews, and hands-on experience ## **Compensation and Benefits** ### **Compensation** * **$60,000 base salary** * Uncapped commission * Commission paid on new annual recurring revenue closed * Accelerators for performance above quota * Reasonable onboarding and ramp period ### **Equity** Equity with a standard four-year vesting schedule and one-year cliff. ### **Benefits** * Medical, dental, and vision coverage * 401(k) with employer match * Flexible paid time off * Remote work * HubSpot, Zoom, Slack, and the software needed to succeed ## **Career Growth** This role provides a clear path for someone who wants to grow a career in SaaS sales. As Akute Health grows, a successful Account Executive may have the opportunity to: * Take ownership of larger and more complex deals * Become a senior or lead Account Executive * Help onboard and mentor future sales hires * Contribute to the development of the company’s sales playbook * Grow into sales management or another leadership position over time ## **What We’re Looking For** * 2 - 3 years of experience in SaaS sales, business development, or a customer-facing revenue role * Some experience conducting discovery calls, product demonstrations, or sales presentations * Interest in developing into a strong full-cycle Account Executive * Comfort working with small business customers and managing multiple active opportunities * Strong communication and follow-up skills * Coachability and a willingness to receive feedback * Good organizational habits and attention to detail * Comfort working in a fast-moving, early-stage environment * Ability to execute with minimal supervision * Experience using a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce * Healthcare technology, clinic, provider, or digital health experience is helpful but not required ## **You May Be a Great Fit If** * You are currently an SDR, BDR, junior AE, or customer-facing SaaS professional who is ready for more ownership * You enjoy speaking with customers and learning how their businesses operate * You are motivated by closing deals but are also willing to do the follow-up and administrative work required to close and track them * You want frequent coaching and direct exposure to company leadership * You are excited about joining an early-stage company where you can grow along with the sales organization
