Sales Engineer / Manager

Mission, Responsibilities and Accountabilities for the position:

The Sales Engineer is responsible for all aspects of delivery of the company’s advanced products and solutions. This role combines the ability to uncover and analyze customer business requirements with the ability to lead and implement complex integrated solutions to address those needs.

The position is also responsible for communicating and collaborating with each business partner and customer while developing and implementing strategies to maximize profit margins and selling opportunities. Also responsible for increasing overall revenue by assessing and penetrating existing accounts and building new partnerships. The eligible candidate will be orchestrating logistics of sales processes, tracked sales performance, and authoring and presenting relevant performance reports.

•Support the sales and business development team – responsible for the technical aspects of the sales process.

•End-to-end management and ownership of solutions projects.

•Extract, manipulate and analyze customer data/interactions, trends, and present this information and recommendation to the necessary decision makers.

•Responsible for Project Reviews, including:

oTechnical analysis of customer requirements

oTechnical negotiations with customers

oCreating configurations / quotes for customers

oPreparation and sign off of technical proposals for customers

oOwnership of and prompt responses to RFP/RFI/RFQ documents

oWork with internal departments on project definition & implementation

•Manage pending sales situations from a technical pre-sales perspective, working along with Sales & BD Directors as well as with Regional Channel Sales Managers & Partners both in-house and on-site, providing all support for achieving success in sales

•Participation in trade shows

•Responsible for evaluations performed at customer sites

•Assisting in training channel partners and end users

•Defining specifications to company product line to meet customer needs

• travel required

B.Tech degree or equivalent and a minimum of 1 years of related work experience (e.g., presales, sales, marketing, consulting, and/or training) or an advanced degree with 3 years of related work experience.
Experience in an equivalent role for a Shot Blasting/Surface Finishing firm a major plus.
Proven or demonstrably outstanding speaking and writing skills.
