Venue Partnerships Manager

We're searching for a dynamic and strategic Director of Venue Partnerships to establish and nurture deep relationships with venues and corporate/brand managers. This pivotal role is guided by three core northstars:

Role and Responsibilities:

1.Rapidly Increase Venue Partnerships:

Lead the charge in expanding our portfolio of venue partnerships across the United States and EMEA, driving rapid growth in this essential area.
Develop and execute innovative strategies to forge strong collaborations with venues that resonate with our vision and mission.
Work through both direct sales and partnerships to maximize surface area, pipeline, and conversion.
Ensure our leadership at the cutting edge of venue content.
Be able to consider and uncover advertising opportunities

2.Develop a Dynamic Pricing System:

Develop a dynamic pricing system that fosters scalable, mutually beneficial win/win dynamics with our venue partners.
Work with our engineering and leadership team to provide specifications and ensure the successful delivery of the pricing system.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing strategies align with overall company objectives and goals.

3.Build and Lead Venue Marketing, Sales, and CS Teams:

Champion the development of high-performing teams in venue marketing, sales, and customer support, scaling in accordance with our revenue growth.
Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and alignment with company objectives.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in forming strategies to secure content from premier venues, collaborating with engineering to ensure the continuous freshness of this content.
Thoughtful approach to partnering with venues, especially regarding dynamic pricing, take rates, packages, and margins. Proficient in engaging with venues at a deep financial and technical level
Proficiency in assembling and leading teams of salespeople and managers to amplify the presence of our brand within venues.
Knowledgeable and experienced in advertising opportunities within the venue space, capable of architecting a successful advertising model on our platform.
Insight into the challenges venues encounter due to corporate regulations, with an ability to strategize effective solutions.
Deep understanding of the synergy between our take rate and event venue sales manager commissions, adept at balancing these dynamics to achieve win-win outcomes.
Familiarity with the most exceptional venues, content, and technologies within the industry.
Savviness in identifying partnerships and integrations that fuel our triumph within the venue landscape.
Uncompromising commitment to design quality, ensuring all materials meet the highest standards of excellence.
Proficient in creating pitch decks, call scripts, and other sales collateral.
Strong quantitative skills, with a capacity to construct compelling business cases that sway venues and brands toward partnership.
Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in the hospitality realm, ideally encompassing venue content, events, or related sectors.
